a little humor for this weepy thursday

because i was feeling a bit weepy this morning (do you ever get that way? just weepy...i teared up over a song about trailer parks and shotguns this morning...), and because work is getting tremendous and the days are getting shorter and i need my sunshine more than ever,

i thought i'd share with you something that never fails to make me laugh.

robert is a hobbyist, and is always looking for something new to dabble in. 2010 was the year of home brewing, with concoctions bubbling away in our basement for months.

he decided to name his brew "pablale" a mixture of our dog, pablo, and ale.

and his friend kevin made this label. that is pablo riding a motorcycle. enjoy!

p.s. thank you all for your sweet, sweet messages of encouragement on my presentation yesterday. i may or may not have totally bombed it. maybe the fluency fairy got lost? she certainly visited the girl who went before me, with the killer powerpoint and over-the-top professionalism. better luck next time, right?

OK, I have been in such a foul mood all day long and seriously this alone made me bust out laughing out at my desk "do you ever get that way? just weepy...i teared up over a song about trailer parks and shotguns this morning..." - you're the best <3

This is hilarious! I'm sure your presentation went better than you think. We're always hardest on ourselves.

I know you did well...you don't look the type to do anything half hearted!

BAHAHAHA! Loving Pablo on the motorcycle! He looks so tough yet cuddly too...And I totally know what you mean about having a weepy day.. When I first started my blog, I was planning a series called Weepy Wednesdays... I would post about stuff that made me sad...lol A little masochistic in retrospect, so the idea was canned... Although I don't know why feeling weepy is considered a bad thing... I think it's good for mee soul.

PS. I'm sure your presentation didn't go as bad as you think... We tend to be our worst critic...

Hehe. That is so funny. I feel "weepy" some days too. I guess it's a weird woman thing!

humor is such a great way to take care of yourself, especially after a less than stellar experience. yes, bad presentations will happen. so will bad tests and bad papers. but in the end, you won't remember any of that stuff, and as long as you have a degree, none of your future jobs will care. actually, you probably learned a lot for next time, in which case, i'd say you succeeded. still, i hope today rocks! :)

Oh, that did make me smile my friend. Little Pablo on his motorcycle - how cute!! Hee Hee! Sorry that the Fluency Fairy failed to turn up for you. So who wants to be a clever clogs like the girl who went before you anyway?! You're always number 1 in our books.

this is hilarious.

I tried to send you my good wishes on your presentation post yesterday but the comment box didn't show. I guess that's what happens when I blog at work. Anyway, I love that term: Fairy fluency, if you see her... send her my way please.
