Do not get me wrong, I still love this time of year, but it certainly is different. However, I suppose you are right: it never was supposed to remain the same. And I'm sure once I have my own children, it will change once more.Cara-Miahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/02435255215689704022noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2620417497874038390.post-73951619667609859992011-12-24T12:14:21.850-05:002011-12-24T12:14:21.850-05:00Wonderful post! Adults have to work a little harder for it to feel as special as it once did. But I think it's worth the work we put into the new traditions, mixing with mostly the older traditions. Memories are what make it all count!Meghanhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13170470267044439233noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2620417497874038390.post-70912654046001224242011-12-21T18:18:49.614-05:002011-12-21T18:18:49.614-05:00I love the way this is written. As we enter adulthood, that reverses and no where is it felt more than at Christmas. The years before I had children were pretty dismal during the holidays! Once you have kids, it changes...you feed their imaginations and your own. The spirit lives on again.

Marry Christmas!

XO,
JaneBlondie's Journalhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12988377413260331618noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2620417497874038390.post-4437948550392819902011-12-21T16:56:24.629-05:002011-12-21T16:56:24.629-05:00Christmas as an adult definitely feels different b...Christmas as an adult definitely feels different but a good different.
